Movie Shots- How to Train Your Dragon 2

I watched the movie How to Train Your Dragon 2. This movie is a sequel to How to Train Your Dragon, in this movie its been 5 years since Hiccup, the main character, and Toothless, his dragon, united the dragon and Vikings of Berk. They spend their time exploring the island’s unmapped territories. During one of these adventures, Hiccup and Toothless find a secret cave filled with hundreds of wild dragons and a mysterious dragon rider who ends up being Hiccup’s long lost mother, Valka. The pair then has to battle to protect their home, Berk, from a power-hungry warrior named Drago. This is a long shot where Hiccup encounters his mother, Valka, for the first time. He is riding Toothless up high because he is stressed and then a mysterious lady shows us and faces him. This shot has allowed men to see the greater picture and enormity of the sky because the characters: Hiccup, Toothless, Valka and her dragon alll appear to be close to each other, face to face, but yet the big cle...

Hi, my name is Emily Solis and I am taking this class because I love try new things and want to enhance my learning about the media world. I heard that the purpose of AICE Media Studies is to enhance learners' enjoyment and appreciation of the the media world and its role in our daily lives. From this class I'd like to get a better understanding of the media world and the impact it has on us, as well as gaining some technical skills. I am no tech savvy so I definitely think this class will help me better understand and learn about different movie genres and eras. I love watching movies and have recently been more involved in the media world and would like to learn more about the way it a part of our daily lives and I think AICE Media Studies is the perfect class that can help me with that.

Offline - Switch back and forth between scenes -Efficient use of editing -Scary music -Contrast (dark and light) -Setting in a cage and tied vs at home or school like normal 3. Dear Lover -Voice Over -Contrast in scenes -Nice use of editing -Scenery (woods) -Happy and Romantic Music 4. Dare to Thrill -Music playing over characters voices (diegetic sound) -different camera angels (in car and outside of car) -At nigh, contrast with bright lights 5.
