1.) Contrast

This clip conveys contrast because the clip are direct opposites of each other. Both clips occurred at school during 5th period, one clip was before the bell rang and the other clips was after the bell rang. Before the bell rand the halls were silent and quite with no people to be found or seen. However, as soon as the bell rang the students were running and screaming through the halls. 

2.) Parallelism

The two shots taken are of the girl putting on her mask in the two clips. A change over time can be observed because the girls hairstyle changed in the second clip, which signifies a change a change in time. This clip conveys how wearing over the months in quarantine has become "normal". 

3.) Symbolism

The symbol utilized in the clip for symbolism was the mascot of Lely High School being the Trojan. In the clip it appeared on the shirt and was then scene on the mask of the statue of the trojan located in the Lely High School courtyard The appearance of the trojan symbolizes and portrays the importance of the Trojan. 

4.) Simultaneity

The clips taken are of a boy sitting alone at lunch and of a group of people, mostly football player, these clips are occurring at the same time. So, they are a great example of simultaneity because one clips shows the lonely boy, meanwhile the other clip is of all the other students socializing and talking to each other. 

5.) Leitmotif 

The shot taken for this clap is of a boy with his mask off and the sound effects added to the clip creates a sense of suspense. The suspenseful sound plays anytime a person takes their mask off in a public area because people are alarmed and at risk of COVID-19, this is the reasoning for the inclusion of the clip.
